Privacy notice

This notice covers incomestructurednotes.com. It says what we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted. Every claim here matches what the site actually does.

1. What we collect

When you only use the calculator

Nothing you type is sent to us. The calculation happens in your browser and the figures stay there. We hold no record of it.

When you ask us to email you a report

The form sends us:

• Your full name. Required.
• Your email address. Required, because it is where the report goes.
• Your phone number. Optional. Leave it blank and we never receive one.
• The figures you entered and the results they produced. These make up the report itself.

Under California law these are identifiers and commercial information. We collect no sensitive personal information as that law defines it. No government identifiers, no financial account numbers, no precise location, no biometrics, no health data, no racial, religious, or sexual information.

Automatically, on every visit

Our web host and our content delivery network keep standard server logs, which include IP addresses, and an anonymous count of page views. This happens at the server, not in this site's code, and it happens for every website on the internet. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.

2. Where it comes from

From you, directly, and only when you fill in the form and press send. We buy no lists, we run no data brokers, and we collect nothing about you from anywhere else.

3. Why we collect it

• To email you the report you asked for.
• To reply to you and answer questions about it.
• To follow up about our software, including the white-label version.

That is the whole list. We do not use it for advertising, for scoring, or for automated decisions about you.

4. Who else sees it

Your form submission travels through Make.com, an automation service, which sends the report to your inbox and passes your details to ours. Make holds a record of that submission in its run history. Make is our service provider, not a buyer of your data.

Our web host and our content delivery network see the server logs described above, as any host and CDN do.

Nobody else. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as California defines those terms. We have never done so. Because we do not, there is no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on this site, and none is required.

5. How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as we are in contact with you, and for up to 24 months after we last hear from you. Then we delete it. Server logs are kept on our host's and our CDN's normal schedules, which are measured in days and weeks, not years.

Ask us to delete your details sooner and we will.

6. Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. It runs no advertising trackers, no social media pixels, and no analytics of our own. Its fonts are served from this domain rather than from a font company, so no third party learns that you visited. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. This site does not respond to it, because there is nothing for it to switch off. We do not track you across other websites, with or without the signal.

8. Your California rights

If you live in California, you have the rights below. We honour them for everyone who asks, wherever they live.

• To know. Ask what personal information we hold about you, where it came from, why we have it, and who we disclosed it to.
• To a copy. Ask for the specific pieces we hold, in a portable form.
• To delete. Ask us to erase what we hold about you.
• To correct. Ask us to fix anything inaccurate.
• To opt out of sale or sharing. Nothing to opt out of. We do neither.
• To limit the use of sensitive personal information. Nothing to limit. We collect none.
• Not to be treated differently for asking. Exercising any of these rights costs you nothing and changes nothing about the service you get.

How to exercise them

Email us at info [at] incomestructurednotes.com and say which right you are exercising.

We will confirm we received your request within 10 business days and answer it within 45 calendar days. If we need longer we will tell you why and take up to 45 more, which is the maximum the law allows.

To verify a request we match the email address you write from against the one in our records. If we cannot match it, we may ask you for details only you and we would both know. We will not ask you for a government identifier. An authorised agent may act for you if they send us your written permission.

9. Shine the Light

California's Shine the Light law lets residents ask whether a business shared their personal information with third parties for those parties' own direct marketing. We do not do this, so there is nothing to disclose. Ask anyway and we will confirm it in writing.

10. Children

This site is for financial advisers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and we have never sold or shared the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this notice

If we change what we collect or who sees it, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Substantive changes stay listed here for twelve months, so you can see what changed and when. We do not apply a change retroactively to information we already hold without telling you first.
